Dr. Meghan N. Rivers, Ph.D., M.Div.

Dr. Meghan Rivers is a unique woman of God called for such a time as this, gifted to operate in many facets of ministry. She served for many years as associate pastor of a local church in Northern VA and has most recently served as Senior leader and founder of Light of Life International Ministries and Light World Network, respectively.

She has a Business degree in Marketing from James Madison University, a Master’s Degree in Divinity and Organizational Leadership from Wake Forest University and a Master of Public Affairs Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of North Carolina –Greensboro, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and Human Resource Development from Regent University.

Meghan considers the legacy of a strong Christian heritage as one of the greatest blessings of her life. Having accepted Christ at a young age, she grew in her faith through the teaching she received from her family and godly servants within the local church.  She has served in various local churches faithfully, utilizing her gifts of administration, intercession, teaching, singing, and prophetic strategic oversight to counsel, encourage, and equip others.

In 2009, Meghan began Light of Life International Ministries (LOLIM), an evangelistic outreach ministry focused on helping others reach their maximum potential through deliberate obedience to God.  Meghan is currently working in the area of global outreach and development, assisting and teaching several churches in Kenya, Togo, West Africa, Pakistan, and Ethiopia.   Meghan travels and teaches, leading individuals and teams on international trips to build the Kingdom of God.

She is also the founder and leader of “The Gathering, " a teaching and worship opportunity for pastors and others in senior Christian leadership to come together to be refreshed and renewed. She travels frequently, speaking at conferences, churches, and professional venues, and accepts other opportunities where she can proclaim that Jesus is Lord!

She has a heart for people and has hosted several ministry conferences and strategic gatherings for ministry leaders. Dr. Meghan's desire to see men and women prosper in their spiritual growth has led her to teach, counsel, and encourage others through bible studies and Christian conferences.  She endeavors to speak what the heart of God is saying to His people with relevance, clarity and most of all with love.
